Membership

General Information For Prospective Members

Persons wishing to become a member are required to attend club working bees and meeting nights for 3 months prior to submitting an application for membership.  This 3 months, if application is accepted, forms part of your 12 months probation.

Public running is held on the last Sunday of each month from 1300 to 1600 hours.

The second Sunday run is classified as Family Day & may be used for special runs (not open to public) commencing at 1300 hours.
Members are required to assist the Society in the necessary maintenance and construction of Track, Buildings and Surrounds.
Prospective members are given a 12 month probationary period.
Prospective members are expected to attend at least 6 maintenance working days during their period of probation.  This attendance will govern acceptance into the society.
Prospective members are required to regularly attend monthly meetings, which are held in the clubhouse on the second Friday of each month (except January) commencing at 1930 hours.
Prospective members shall attend the general meeting at which their membership application is presented.
An Active Member shall be a senior member, a life member, a country member or a junior member who assist in the construction, maintenance of track, buildings and surrounds and operations of the society at least 6 times a year.
Members who do not attend 6 working days per year are not considered to be active members of the society and will be classified as associate members in accordance with rule 13b5 of the constitution and shall not be entitled to vote at any meeting nor shall he or she be qualified to hold any office in the society.
